If you wish to make your blueprint as a transfer student, we welcome your application. Transfer credits are credit hours completed successfully at one institution and transferred to Blue Ridge CTC to be applied toward degree requirements. Transfer credits are reviewed and articulated using official academic transcripts by Blue Ridge CTC’s Registrar’s Office.
If you hope to transfer previous college credits from other schools (including SMART or ACE military credits), please follow the steps below.
Additionally, Blue Ridge CTC offers an online transfer evaluation tool, which can assist you in identifying how credits may transfer from another institution.
Applicants specifically using International Education Evaluations, Inc. (IEE) should use their portal for Blue Ridge Community and Technical College
Students who have earned a GED or high school diploma enroll as degree seeking students. Complete the online application to get started.
Submit copy of a government issued ID through the online application.
Provide official High School transcripts, TASC Assessment, or GED Scores. REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

Students who have earned a prior degree or earned 15 or more college credits may have the high school transcript requirement waived upon receipt of official College transcripts. Students may still be required to submit high school transcripts for Financial Aid requirements. If you are unable to obtain copies of transcripts, high school transcripts are required.
