Associate degree programs in Social Justice costs less than a bachelor’s degree and take about two years to complete. Associate degrees provide workforce-ready skills and knowledge required to enter the profession early or get an edge in a current career. Plus, our programs provide foundational knowledge to pursue four-year programs for continuing education opportunities.
Blue Ridge CTC’s associate degree programs in social justice require 60 credits, which takes about two years to complete when enrolled as a full-time student.
We offer the following associate degree programs in the Social Justice field:
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree in Human Services
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies
Blue Ridge CTC’s associate degrees in Social Justice do not require ACT or SAT scores to qualify for admission. Students may need ACT or SAT scores, or free placement testing to qualify for courses such as English, Math, or Chemistry. Placement testing can be scheduled at any time during the application process.
Admission requirements to associate degree programs in the Social Justice field include a high school diploma or equivalent and a complete application packet. Students who have earned credits at other Colleges or Universities must also provide official copies of those transcripts. There is also a $25 application fee that can be paid at any time once an application is submitted.
