Martinsburg, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is pleased to announce that the DISC assessment and subsequent training will now be offered through the Workforce Development Career Advancement department of the college. DISC is an assessment that analyzes observable behaviors and tendencies and how the understanding of these behaviors can increase communication effectiveness in personal and professional lives.
Â
Tiffany Hine, Director of Small Business Education and Training for Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, recently passed the certification exam to become a certified DISC trainer. By having this certification within the college, Blue Ridge CTC will be able to offer this training to our local community and workforce partners. By completing this assessment, employees and leaders will have a better understanding of the observable behaviors of their peers and leaders. This can lead to an increase in effective communication within the workplace.
