What You Will Learn - Curriculum Overview

In the Emergency Medical Technician certification program, students receive hands-on instruction from highly trained faculty regarding the essentials to become an Emergency Medical Technician in prehospital care settings. The program allows students to:

    • Learn basic skills to provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients. 
    • Perform interventions using basic equipment found on an ambulance.
    • Demonstrate skills to perform at least ten successful patient assessments while riding on an ambulance.
    • Learn skills to build a foundation to prepare for the National Certification Exam.
