The Blue Ridge CTC Financial Aid Office will consider requests for reconsideration of financial aid eligibility using professional judgment. Such reconsiderations may be warranted if circumstances in the household have changed since the FAFSA was completed. Professional judgment is based on institutional policy and is not regulated by the federal government. The final decision, whether approval or denial, is made by the BRCTC Financial Aid Office. Areas of professional judgment may include Special Circumstances and Dependency Overrides. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office to determine if they may be eligible.
