Essential Functions:

  • Reviews “job ticket” for title, form and quantities.
  • Prepares “skid tickets” stating signatures per bundle and how many bundles per skid.
  • Informs Press Operator of quality standard problems.
  • Reviews “skid ticket” to insure proper tagging when skid is loaded to quantity.
  • Throughout run, helps keep track of specified amount of product and notifies Press Operator when run is complete.
  • Notifies Material Control that skids are ready to be placed in storage at end of run

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) including weekends and holidays

Job Description
Panhandle Home Health has a current opening for a full-time, 40 hour per week RN position. Our nurses go into a patient’s home to provide and direct one-on-one physician ordered skilled care to patients who reside in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties. A current WV RN license is required as well as current CPR certification.

One year of nursing experience is preferred but will consider LPN experience or less than one year RN experience depending on acute care work history.
The position is paid hourly and travel is also reimbursed. A typical day may be drawing labs, providing/teaching wound care, educating patients/families on disease processes. The home healthcare setting is an ideal opportunity to use a wide variety of hands-on nursing skills. Potential for further education in wound certification.

Regular hours are 8a-430p. Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage is scheduled on a rotating basis and may average 3 days per month.
