Blue Ridge CTC Hosts Governor Morrisey’s $50 Million Hellsing Investment Announcement
Blue Ridge CTC was honored to host Governor Patrick Morrisey on Monday, July 13, 2026.
Governor Patrick Morrisey announced that Germany-based defense technology company Helsing will invest $50 million to establish its first U.S. advanced manufacturing facility in Berkeley County. The project is expected to create at least 60 high-paying jobs, with average annual salaries of $125,000, marking another significant economic development win for West Virginia and reinforcing the state’s growing aerospace and defense industry.
