BRCTC SPACE Club Goes to NASA

The BRCTC SPACE Club traveled to NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia to participate in a launch. Four students in the STEM program, Nathan Clark, (robotics), Jacob Keyser (manufacturing), Ezekiel Hall (software development engineering), and Chris Marcus (software development engineering), are conducting an experiment to confirm the major atomic composition of the sun utilizing data collected from a spectrometer launched 100 miles above the earth.

The program is funded via the West Virginia Space Grant Consortium.
