Blue Ridge Community and Technical College partnered with the Washington High School (WHS) Key Club to collect donations to aid in the relief from Hurricane Helene. Blue Ridge reached out to our students, faculty, employees, and community from October 3rd to October 7th for this much needed and incredible cause.
The needed donations were the following:
Despite the short time frame to collect these donations, our community managed to come together to procure a sizeable amount for the relief efforts.
The next morning, our donations were driven out to add to the collections gathered by the WHS Key Club. The amount that they were able to collect is nothing short of incredible. We are honored that we were able to partner with such impressive students, and that the Blue Ridge CTC community was able to lend aid to the relief efforts.
