The Green Collar Workforce Development Partnership program was joined by 15 students from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College on April 10. The Partnership is made up of members from the Canaan Valley Institute, Downstream Strategies, Blue Ridge Community and Technical College (BRCTC), Berkeley County Farmland Protection and the Berkeley County Public Service Stormwater District. Funded by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, the Green Collar Workforce program offers hands-on conservation and ecological restoration training opportunities to students in the Eastern Panhandle.
