Our workplace culture is rooted in family values, hands-on problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset that drives continuous improvement.Job SummaryWe’re hiring an Electronic/Maintenance Technician who has the technical formal training and natural talent to troubleshoot issues that arise on our printing and thermoforming – related equipment and plant facility.  We place a high level of trust in this role because it is the only Maintenance department representative on duty for our 2nd and 3rd shifts for emergency repairs, ongoing preventative maintenance and support of continuous improvement initiatives.  Training on our primary production machines will be provided during 1st shift hours before being moved to 4-10 hour days Mon-Thur 3:30PM-2AM after training.   You can expect a fixed schedule with very minimal weekends. What Success Looks Like

  • Safely Performs work on manual, semi, and fully automatic machines.  Safely Performs work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipmentDiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them through various troubleshooting methods.  For trouble shooting and research uses blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.Does routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.Documents all work performed using E-Maintenance software and email.Will startup, cycle, and shut down safely all facility tools and equipment maintained by the maintenance Dept.Performs Lock out Tag out.Perform tasks in excess of 30 feet occasionally.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks and related material-handling equipment to support manufacturing, warehousing, inventory storage, and shipping operations. This position moves finished goods, bottles, raw materials, preforms, packaging materials, and production supplies throughout the facility while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and operational standards. The Forklift Operator supports production flow, inventory accuracy, customer shipments, and overall plant efficiency.

The following duties are representative of the position, dependent upon the designated and assigned area. Additional job-related duties may be assigned as operational needs require.

Material Handling and Production Support

Safely operate forklifts and other authorized material-handling equipment.
Supply pallets, top frames, tier sheets, packaging materials, and other production materials as required.
Transport finished goods from production areas to warehouse storage locations.
Stage materials for production and shipping activities.
Deliver preforms, resin, packaging materials, and other supplies to designated production areas.
Load and unload trailers in accordance with established procedures.
Ensure proper placement and storage of inventory using established warehouse and inventory-control systems.
Build and handle dunnage and reusable packaging materials as required.


Shipping and Inventory Responsibilities

Verify product identification, labeling, and load accuracy prior to shipment.
Complete shipping documentation and scan inventory transactions as required.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory-verification activities.
Operate a yard truck and move trailers after pre-loading materials.
Maintain product traceability and inventory accuracy.
Identify and report damaged product, inventory discrepancies, or shipping issues.


Equipment Operation and Inspection

Perform required pre-shift forklift inspections and document findings.
Immediately remove unsafe equipment from service and notify leadership or maintenance.
Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical concerns promptly.
Operate forklifts in accordance with Company policies, plant traffic-control requirements, and applicable safety requirements.
Refuel, recharge, or change batteries using approved procedures.
Blowmolding operators change strap, wrap and labels; Manage the E80 inbound conveyor and car wash area.
Export operators monitor the box builder, lid robot, labelers, AGC’s and LGV’s.
Export operators inspect Fairlife loads before leaving the building.
Grinding operators transport bins of preforms and safely operate the grinding systems.
Flake to Pellet operators safely unload flake, load recycle materials, and unload flake material using the hoist system in the NGR room.

Safety, Compliance, and Quality

Follow all forklift safety rules, traffic patterns, pedestrian-safety requirements, and PPE requirements.
Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and production activities.
Report unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, property damage, or equipment concerns immediately.
Participate in required safety meetings and training programs and maintain required operational authorization.
Comply with all SQF, food safety, product safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Handle products in a manner that prevents damage or contamination.
Verify labels, packaging, and product identification before storage or shipment.
Follow established procedures for handling nonconforming product.
Support continuous-improvement and operational-excellence initiatives.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications : 

Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or relevant work experience preferred.
Ability to successfully complete Company-required powered industrial truck training, evaluation, and certification before independent operation, and to maintain required periodic reevaluation and operational authorization.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and related material-handling equipment in a manufacturing and warehouse environment after training.
Ability to perform and document pre-shift equipment inspections and recognize conditions requiring equipment to be removed from service.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal safety instructions, traffic-control rules, work procedures, product labels, and shipping documentation.
Basic math skills and the ability to accurately complete inventory, production, scanning, and shipping transactions.
Ability to identify hazards, maintain pedestrian awareness, and promptly report unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, product damage, and equipment concerns.
Ability to work effectively with production, warehouse, shipping, quality, maintenance, and leadership personnel in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous forklift, warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing experience.

Experience using RF scanners, barcode systems, warehouse-management systems, or electronic inventory systems.
Experience loading and unloading trailers, staging shipments, and verifying product and load accuracy.
Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, product traceability, or shipping documentation.
Experience in plastics manufacturing, food-grade manufacturing, warehousing, or high-volume production environments.

The Injection Machine Operator is responsible for the safe, continuous, and efficient operation of injection molding machines, crane systems, and related support equipment used to produce injection-molded preforms and parts that meet established quality requirements. The role includes equipment start-up and shutdown, process monitoring, product and material changeovers, quality testing, scrap control, routine maintenance, cleaning, documentation, and compliance with product safety and regulatory requirements.

Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and the crane system in accordance with established safety and operating procedures; follow Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety, confined space and machine guarding requirements.
Monitor resin and colorant feed and supply to support continuous operation. Verify that the correct product is produced using the specified resin and color, and coordinate preform and color changes as required by Production Scheduling.
Monitor operating conditions and production output for compliance with quality specifications. Notify the Team Leader or Injection Operations Manager of actual or potential problems.
Troubleshoot minor process and equipment issues and profile machines within authorized operating parameters.
Identify, isolate, label, and properly handle production that may be out of specification in coordination with the Team Leader or Injection Operations Manager.
Account for machine scrap, complete required scrap tags and labels, and process scrap as directed.
Perform required visual and technical tests on preforms to verify conformity to applicable quality standards and immediately report out-of-specification product.
Monitor dryers, chillers, ACG, LGV, labelers, box builder, lid robot, automated defect-detection equipment, and other support equipment. Promptly report apparent malfunctions.
Perform directed calibration checks and operator maintenance, including changing neck rings and assisting with mold cleaning.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions promptly.
Complete production, scrap, quality, maintenance, safety, and other required reports accurately and on time.
Comply with all requirements relating to employee safety, product safety, product legality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
Participate in required training, safety meetings, continuous-improvement activities, and shift handoffs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Injection Operations Manager.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, safety rules, quality specifications, production schedules, and equipment procedures.
Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and accurately record production, scrap, and quality information.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn injection molding equipment, process controls, support systems, routine maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
Ability to distinguish product, resin, and color requirements and accurately perform or support material and product changeovers.
Ability to perform visual inspections and required technical quality tests after training and to recognize and escalate abnormal conditions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Technician ensures that the plant maintains production following all OSHA policies working in a safe manner. Maintenance is responsible for facilities inside and outside of the plant, shipping and receiving and production areas.

Additional Information

Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm, and on Wednesday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm

Shift Differential: $0.85/Per Hour

This position is also eligible for a bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for the necessary maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair
  • Maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and production maintenance systems
  • This can include dryers, chillers, thermos oxidizer, HVAC, fire pump, mixers, mills, all filling line equipment, conveyors, wrappers, tanks, motors, pumps, tank washer, tank tipper, dock maintenance, building maintenance
  • Processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. and any other item required by management
  • Checks and refills lubricant reservoirs, applies grease to lubricant points, inspects machinery while performing scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Operates shop tools, equipment, and as many machines related to maintenance as skill level will permit
  • Able to make repairs and adjustments to machinery and assist in dismantling all or parts of machinery to repair or replace defective components
  • Assists in electrical projects and performs minor electrical repairs
  • Understands basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams, familiar with 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical wiring or circuits and capable of diagnosing 115 VAC control circuitry
  • Assists in pipe fitting tasks and able to perform some installation tasks unassisted
    Performs certain portions of repairs to power industrial equipment, assists in rebuilding of related equipment
  • Maintains and services a range of building equipment such as HVAC, lighting, water and sewer, etc.
  • Assists in the installation of new plant equipment
  • Maintains production equipment in good operating condition while optimizing equipment uptime to insure the safe and timely manufacture of quality coatings
  • Improves reliability and operating efficiency of plant equipment
  • Conducts preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner to ensure operation of all equipment, in an efficient and safe manner
  • Supports site housekeeping and safety programs, maintaining a work place that is clean and safe
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed
  • Operator fork truck following all OSHA safety regulations
  • Must follow all OSHA safety and Sherwin Williams policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Must have at least (3) three years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing facility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have an associate degree or technical degree.
  • Have at least (3) three years of maintenance experience in a PSM chemical manufacturing
  • Have an Industrial, electrical or welding certifications or license
  • Have at least (1) one year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
  • Have at least (1) one year of formal training or work experience implementing Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
  • Have experienced operating sit-down forklifts (fork trucks), both propane and/or electric
