AIM Grant

Grant-funded IT training for career-changers, upskilling employees, and college students.

The AIM Grant is a federal grant that supports educational and field experience at Blue Ridge CTC through July 1, 2024.

You may be eligible for the AIM Grant:

  • If you are working in the IT, manufacturing or engineering field and desire training to further your career by earning a national certification or degree.

  • If you are a career changer seeking training and certifications.

  • If you are a college student studying at BRCTC in an eligible program.

 

 

Eligibility:

You may be eligible if you are studying for a degree or certification in one of these programs:

You may be eligible if you wish to earn a certification such as the following:

  • Security +
  • A+
  • Network +
  • Linux +
  • CySA+
  • Power BI
  • Project +
  • Photoshop
  • PLC
  • AutoCAD
  • And more!

Demographics:

  • Eligibility is NOT based on financial need.
  • Eligibility is NOT based on household income.
  • FAFSA is NOT required.
  • Geographic: Students may live in any state.
  • Must be a high school graduate/17 years of age

 

The AIM Grant may provide waivers to easier further your education:

  • Tuition, fees, and textbooks waivers
  • Career Advancement bootcamp waivers
  • Certification exam (such as Security +, A +, Photoshop) waivers

The AIM Grant provides additional services:

  • One-on-one assistance with resume writing and interview skills
  • Securing field experience positions

Grant Approval:

Applicants will receive confirmation from Andrew Walters within 72 business hours of completing the grant registration link.
