Students interested in applying for financial aid during the summer terms are required to complete a separate Blue Ridge application in addition to the FAFSA. Since all students do not attend summer school, the application specifies that you wish to receive aid for summer sessions, if you qualify. For Summer 2013, all summer school aid will be awarded for the entire summer that is remaining.. If you plan to attend any of the three summer sessions, your eligibility will be based on the previous award year. For example, during Summer 2013, your aid will be based on remaining eligibility that is left over from 2012–2013.
Summer School applications will be available after the beginning of spring registration and you must wait to submit the application to the Financial Aid Office until after you have registered for summer classes. Applications will not be processed otherwise. Also, completing the Summer School application does not guarantee aid eligibility.
