Martinsburg, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Board of Governors met virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 11:34am by Board Chair, Ms. Stephanie Harvey.
Dr. Miller began the meeting by introducing Chrissy Bowman of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, who presented the financial audit report. Ms. Bowman reported no anomalies or findings as a result of the audit. The Board passed a motion to accept the audit report.
Ms. Harvey continued with the approval of the November 2021 minutes.
Dr. Checkovich presented the President’s Report, highlighting recent media articles pertaining to the Institution.
Dr. Craig Miller, Chief Financial Officer, introduced Kristy Scarlata, Comptroller who presented the Finance Report. Ms. Scarlata provided an overview of the College’s second quarter financials.
Executive Session was not held. No public vote was made.
The meeting adjourned at 12:35 pm.
