Martinsburg, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Board of Governors met virtually via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. The meeting was called to order at 11:52am by Board Chair, Ms. Stephanie Harvey.
Ms. Harvey continued with the approval of the June 2021 minutes.
Dr. Checkovich presented the President’s Report, highlighting recent media articles pertaining to the Institution.
Dr. Ann Shipway, Vice President of Workforce and Engineering Technologies, presented the Workforce Report. Dr. Shipway began by reviewing outreach efforts underway within the community.
Dr. Shipway continued the meeting by introducing Cindi Hull-Miller, Associate Dean of Career Advancement. Ms. Hull-Miller presented a student testimonial, highlighting the success of the Job Scholars Program.
Leslie See, Vice President of Enrollment and Allied Health Sciences provided the Enrollment Report. Ms. See reviewed unofficial enrollment numbers for the Fall 2021 term.
Executive Session was not held. No public vote was made.
The meeting adjourned at 12:17 pm.
