REGISTRATION & PAYMENT INFORMATION

Registration can be completed online or in person at our Main Campus and at our Morgan County Center.

COURSE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Many courses in this schedule are eligible for the Higher Education Adult Part-time Student (HEAPS)
funding. HEAPS funding is available for qualified West Virginia residents.

CANCELLATIONS

Blue Ridge CTC may cancel a course up to the start day for lack of enrollment and will issue a full refund. Students may withdraw from a two or more day course up to the first day of the course and receive a full refund. After the first class and before the second class, students will receive a 50 % refund. After the second class, no refund will be issued.

Students must withdraw from one-day seminars or courses 24 hours prior to the start of the course to receive a refund, otherwise, no refund will be issued.

Refunds are NOT issued for classes or courses not attended.
Refunds may take three to four weeks to process.

Career Advancement courses are generally offered for individuals 18 years of age and older. If there are courses offered for individuals younger than 18 years of age, the age group allowed in the course will be advertised in the course description. Parents may request exceptions to the age range in writing per course. Exceptions must be approved by the instructor and then additionally approved by the Associate Dean of Career Advancement Education. The Dean of Career Advancement Education may require parents or grandparents to be present in the classroom.

STUDENT POPULATION

Career Advancement Continuing Education Courses are created for students 18 years of age and older. There are some courses that are specifically created for younger or older age groups and those age restrictions are stated in the course description. Please adhere to the age restrictions for each advertised courses.

Occasionally the are requests for students younger than 18 to attend an adult course. Please submit your request in writing to askme@blueridgectc.edu. These requests must be approved by the Associate Dean of Career Advancement Education and the instructor of the course. If approved, there must be a parent or grandparent accompanying the underage student. There is no guarantee that adult language or discussion topics will not occur in the classroom.
