Luck Stone, Bull Run Quarry located in Chantilly VA  is currently seeking an experienced service technician  who can, under general supervision, perform maintenance of heavy mobile equipment, machinery and facilities involved in extraction, crushing and conveying of aggregate stone products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position will work Monday-Thursday 3pm-2am.


  • Be responsible for assisting mechanics with the preventative maintenance and service on all mobile equipment (inspections, oil change, lube)
  • Communicate proactively with mechanics and site managers to update on equipment status
  • Ensure all mobile equipment is operable as needed and in prime operating condition
  • Support the maintenance repair needs of the plant by being a part of location hands on maintenance projects
  • Maintaining records of tasks performed / Track Preventative Maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Ideal candidate(s) will have experience servicing and maintaining automotive or mobile equipment, exceptional organizational skills, computer proficiency and comfortable committing to a night shift.

Candidate(s) must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent exposure to dust  and the full range of weather conditions; frequently in, on and around quarry high walls and pit and extended periods working from elevated positions or in tunnels.
