Berkeley Springs, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College begins offering FREE seminars to residents of Morgan County and the surrounding areas. As part of the Life Long Learning Series, non-credit courses are offered to provide free community education. These Free Seminars cover topics that assist in enhancing general education of the community.
The first free seminar in Morgan County, “How to Self-Publish Your Works,” presented by author and Blue Ridge Instructor Tiffany Hine, will be held at the Pines Opportunity Center October 23, 2012 from 6-7 p.m. This seminar explains the publishing process and educates writers on topics such as choosing the right publisher, selecting artwork that complements written work, and marketing the final product.
Blue Ridge Community and Technical College offers a wide range of non-credit training options for Adult Learners. Many of these courses qualify for special Financial Aid for West Virginia Residents. Career Advancement training options through Blue Ridge Community and Technical College meet the needs of adults that desire new training, but are not able to pursue a college degree due to life commitments. The variety of training courses and options can be completed in less than a year as a part-time student, and some courses can be completed within a few months!
