All students should request a public library card. Students may access available online databases using their library card account number and chosen PIN. You may access online databases at: Ready Reference.

EBSCO HOST databases are available on campus without the use of a library card.

OVID - LLW Premier Nursing Database availabale onsite and remotely.

WebCT Log-In Information

• Go to www.blueridgectc.edu.
• Scroll down until you see a red box on the bottom right.  The third link down will be “Log in to WebCT”, click on this link.
• Your ID is brs_ (lowercase) and your ID (same as email) in ALL CAPS
• If you do not know what this is, you will need to log into Bridge
• Then go to “Personal Information”
• Then “Password Management”
• Then “Retrieve Original Password”
• This is case specific so in WebCT, be sure to add the lowercase brs_ and enter the username in all caps [brs_STUD01]
• Once you have entered your user ID, click on “Log in to my WebCT” with the WebCT ID (case specific) and Password.
• Once you have entered the course, first read the syllabus.  Then familiarize yourself with the course content

Make sure you are using the college generated ID and password, DO NOT create your own username or your classes will not appear on WebCT.

Your instructor will enter you into WebCT on the first day of the course; it will not appear until the first day of the class.  If it is after the first day of class, email your instructor and inform them of the problem (you can obtain any instructor email from your class schedule in Bridge, click on the email icon next to the instructors name.
