Robinson Lumber Company is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist to provide logistical, organizational, administrative, and office support at our facility in Winchester, Virginia. This position is one of the few that will allow you to work with every member of the staff daily, from hourly laborers to the General Manager. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn new things, hungry to take on new projects, and capable of solving problems with diplomacy.

Primary responsibilities

Hiring and on-boarding of new employees

Manage day-to-day and long-term office maintenance and supply ordering

Maintaining information in Salesforce.com CRM system

Answer phones and greet visitors

Manage courier service including scheduling and invoicing

Coordinate the delivery and billing of orders in a step by step process

Communicate with warehouses to coordinate shipments and deliveries

Communicate with freight providers to secure transportation and facilitate documentation

Communicate with customers regarding sales orders, invoices, and shipments

Assist in various tasks as certain parts of the company experience a heavy workload

Requirements:
Experience in logistics and administrative work preferred

Candidates should have at least two years of relevant professional experience

Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are essential to this position

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Lumber and flooring experience are not necessary

Experience in Salesforce CRM a plus
