Adjunct Faculty in English at Berkeley Springs High School

The School of Liberal Arts and Transitional Studies

(LATS) at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach one or two daytime English composition courses at Berkeley Springs High School beginning August 18. Master’s degree in English is required. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience teaching English composition at the high school or college level.

Senior Accountant

Blue Ridge CTC is seeking to fill the position of Senior Accountant.  This position will be responsible for various areas of the accounting process and work in close cooperation of the CFO.  The broad scope of responsibility includes:  payroll administration, accounts receivable administration, treasury functions, general ledger maintenance, financial analyses, reconciliations, and assisting the CFO.   This position will also assist in various reporting functions.  The ideal candidate must have a BS in Accounting and should have broad accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.  Position is open until filled. Hiring Full-Time Nursing Faculty

The Associate of Science in Nursing Program at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, West Virginia has openings for two full-time faculty positions. Full-time positions entail fifteen contact hours per week during the academic school year.

Clinical Instructor: Adult Health Nursing. The successful candidate will provide clinical instruction in a variety of local agencies.

Clinical Skill Laboratory Instructor. The successful candidate will manage and provide clinical instruction in the nursing skills laboratory.

For both positions, other faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluating student performance according to curriculum guidelines, advising students, and support of the nursing department and general college activities. A Masters Degree in Nursing is preferred but a Bachelors Degree in Nursing with current enrollment in a Masters Degree in Nursing program is allowed. The candidate must have current clinical experience. Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is preferred. An unencumbered license or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia is required.

Mathematics Position

Blue Ridge Community & Technical College in Martinsburg, WV is seeking an Instructor of Mathematics for its Career School.  This is a full-time, 9-month faculty position with benefits and will involve classroom instruction and industrial skills training.

Electric Distribution Engineering Technology Instructor(s)

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College (BRCTC) is a growing institution serving Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties.  BRCTC is seeking to fill adjunct faculty positions within the division of Economic and Workforce Development.

Instructors report directly to the Technical Program coordinator within Economic and Workforce Development.  The position is responsible for delivering instruction in the Electric Distribution Engineering Technology program.  The candidates will be responsible to help in curriculum development in conjunction with industry experts and program coordinator.

Successful candidates must possess a strong work ethic, safety first attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a team environment, willingness to work some weekends and evenings.

Candidates must possess at least 5 years experience as a climbing electric lineman and be able to effectively demonstrate working on utility line systems in a teaching environment.  High School/GED is required.  College experience is preferred.  Experience teaching in a working environment is preferred.   Basic computer skills are required.  

Job Duties:

  • Create a positive training atmosphere designed to ensure safe work practices are used and optimal learning environment is achieved
  • Assist program coordinator in creating and updating curriculum
  • Conduct class instruction and assessment

Lab Supervisor/Instructor Assistant

Director of Nursing Program

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, West Virginia is seeking a Nursing Director for our Associate of Science in Nursing Program.  The position involves both administrative and teaching responsibilities. This is a full-time, 10-month position with a year-round state benefit plan.

A Masters Degree in Nursing is required (Doctorate preferred), as well as a current RN license and WV license (or eligibility for licensure in WV).
