Blue Ridge CTC Signs Three New Articulation Agreements with Southern New Hampshire University
Martinsburg, WV. Blue Ridge CTC and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) have signed three new transfer agreements for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Criminal Justice and Nursing. Students transferring to Southern New Hampshire University now enjoy the benefits of seamless transferability of credits, and can continue their studies entirely online.
“The new transfer agreements with Southern New Hampshire University have multiple benefits to our students,” said Dr. Peter Checkovich, Founding President of Blue Ridge CTC. “Blue Ridge CTC and Southern New Hampshire University understand that time and money are invaluable resources to students balancing work, school, and family responsibilities. These agreements not only offer a clear pathway to earning a four-year degree, but also the convenience of online learning.”
Under the transfer agreements, all academic coursework in which a student has earned a grade of “C” or higher is fully transferable to SNHU. Students may transfer up to 90 credit hours toward a bachelor degree program. In addition, SNHU offers eligible Blue Ridge CTC graduates, employees, and immediate family a 10% tuition reduction. Additionally, SNHU offers an application fee waiver to eligible students enrolling in an online program.
“Community colleges share in our mission and values particularly around high-quality learning experiences that are student-centered,” said Dr. Gregory Fowler, Chief Academic Officer & VP of Academic Affairs at SNHU. “Like us they focus on providing dynamic experiences that lead to student success while also considering affordability, accessibility, and flexibility. This partnership allows those who otherwise might not have had opportunities to continue moving forward on a transformational journey that will impact not only their lives but those of their families and their communities.”
SNHU is a private, nonprofit institution accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, as well as several other accrediting bodies. With more than 200 certificate, undergraduate, and graduate programs offered, SNHU has one of the lowest tuition rates in the nation that has remained the same over the past four years.
