Martinsburg, March 7, 2014 – Blue Ridge Community & Technical College will host a health insurance marketplace information session, ACA 101, with Get Covered America enrollment sessions on March 26th, 2014 at its main campus, 13650 Apple Harvest Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
The information session will begin at 5pm with presenter Joanne Grossi, Regional Director of Region III for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Grossi will give an overview of the health insurance marketplace and provide an opportunity for question and answers.
Enrollment sessions in two of the College’s computer labs will run concurrent to the information session and also at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. Enrollment will be facilitated by trained volunteers, also known as navigators. Navigators will guide College students and the public at large on the application and enrollment process. This effort is focused on connecting Blue Ridge students and the community with the right resources and information allowing for the selection of a health insurance plan that best fits individual needs and budgets.
This is a “last call” for the health insurance marketplace, as the ACA enrollment deadline is March 31.
