Martinsburg, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Board of Governors met at the Main Campus in Martinsburg on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. The meeting was called to order at 12:01 pm by Board Chair, Keith Unger.
Mr. Unger began the meeting with approval of the February 2019 minutes.
Dr. Checkovich presented the President’s Report, highlighting recent media articles pertaining to the Institution.
Dr. Ann Shipway, Vice President of Workforce and Engineering Technology, presented the Workforce Development report. Dr. Shipway updated the Board on the West Virginia Manufacturers Association Video Awards Competition, which will be hosted on the main campus in April 2019. Dr. Shipway provided an update on several campus facilities projects. Dr. Shipway concluded her report by highlighting the program reviews for the Associate of Applied Science in Applied Technology.
Dr. Craig Miller, Chief Financial Officer, presented the Finance Report. Dr. Miller presented the proposed fee additions and changes. The Board passed a motion to approve the fee additions and changes.
Executive Session was held; no public vote was made. The meeting adjourned at 1:03 pm.
