Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Offering Free CyberSecurity Seminars in Berkeley Springs, WV.

Berkeley Springs, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is participating in CyberSecurity Month by offering two free seminars to the community. Offered at the Morgan County Center located at 109 War Memorial Drive in Berkeley Springs, the seminars are presented by Blue Ridge CTC Assistant Professor of Information Technology, Anthony Hanners.

The first seminar, scheduled for October 9 from 3-5pm, is CyberSecurity Tips for Seniors. Information includes securing a home wi-fi network and a mobile device. Mr. Hanners explains virus and hacker prevention and also examines the most dangerous internet cyber-attacks.

The second seminar, scheduled for October 16, 2018 from 4:30-6:30pm, is CyberSecurity for Parents. Mr. Hanners provides simple techniques for protection on the Internet, securing home wi-fi networks and mobile devices.
