Berkeley Springs, WV. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Foundation Hosts 2014 Tailgate Celebration at Berkeley Springs High School.

The Foundation of Blue Ridge Community and Technical College hosted the second annual Tailgating Celebration Friday, October 10, 2014. The event, hosted at Berkeley Springs High School, raised funds for students in Morgan County attending Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. Community members purchased tickets for the event, which was catered by chefs and students from the Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Culinary Academy.

This year’s event raised a total of $1560 from ticket sales and sponsorships. All proceeds from the event benefit the Morgan County Early College High School program. These funds are used to purchase textbook and offer classes to high school students in Morgan County. Currently, courses offered to current high school students include English, mathematics and mechatronics.
